It’s been a busy past 6 months or so with WTM teams delivering high quality heating and plumbing installations across Oxfordshire on a series for climate positive new-build developments and self-builds. Here’s just a selection.
Energy saving installations: underfloor heating to air source heat pumps
The demand for energy-saving heating systems is growing and this is being reflected in the specifications for projects by many of the new-build developers we’ve been working with.

On behalf of Sweetcroft Homes’ development, Westbrook Farm in Blewbury, we installed air source heat pumps to provide homeowners with all the space heating and hot water requirements for their 5-bedroom homes.
17 miles away in Southmoor, Oxfordshire, our plumbing team delivered full plumbing and heating packages for Greencore Construction’s multi-award-winning project of 25 climate positive homes.
Each home boasts bespoke bathrooms and wet room shower trays and in addition, the homes also have water softeners and hot return circulation systems and some plots opted for rainwater harvesting systems. This project is now complete and all plots are already being enjoyed by their new owners.

Plumbing for High Spec Bathrooms
Renowned for their high quality standards, Sweetcroft Homes also selected WTM Plumbing to provide their plumbing, heating and bathrooms for a 10-house development, in Sandy Lane, near Woodstock.
The project included the first-fix of provisional pipework which allowed future water softeners to be installed when required, as well as hot water secondary return pipework. Unvented hot water cylinders were installed with Vaillant gas-fired boilers. Underfloor heating extended throughout the ground floor and added that bit of luxury in the upstairs bathrooms using a clip-from-below system.
January 2023 saw us start the first fix for a new project for Castlethorpe Homes in Bramley. A smaller development of four large detached houses, our team of plumbing engineers provided a complete plumbing and heating package including the supply and fit of Daikin air source heat pumps for each home.

Energy-Saving Heating & Plumbing for Self-Builds
The team completed one of many self-build projects that we’ve worked on in partnership with Fabric First. This four-bedroom property had underfloor heating installed throughout the ground floor supported by a Midea air source heat pump with a low loss header and unvented hot water cylinder to meet all of their space heating and water requirements for the homes.
